What Is Open Access?
Open access means that peer-reviewed scientific articles can be accessed in full text via the internet, free of any charge, subscription, or registration requirement, from the moment of publication. All articles published in NEVA Press journals are made available to readers on this basis.
License and Copyright
Published articles are made available to readers under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, articles may be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, and linked to, provided that appropriate attribution is given.
Authors retain the copyright to their work; NEVA Press exercises only the right of first publication.
For any commercial reuse, authors and the publisher should be contacted.
Embargo Period
NEVA Press journals apply no embargo period. Articles are made openly accessible immediately upon completion of the acceptance and publication process.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
To ensure the sustainability of the open access model, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted articles.
Fees may vary from journal to journal; current amounts are published on the respective journal's page and on the Payment Methods page.
The APC is requested only from articles that have successfully completed peer review and have been accepted for publication; no fee is charged during the evaluation or rejection stage.
Access to articles is always free for readers.
Permanent Access and Archiving
Every article is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure permanent and uninterrupted access.
Published content is preserved for the long term through digital archiving systems.
Quality Assurance
Open access does not mean any compromise on scientific rigor. All articles undergo a double-blind peer review process prior to publication and are subject to the publication ethics standards outlined on our Ethical Principles page.
